The sooner you join HELIX the better. By joining us and taking part weekly you start the revision process without even knowing it. This is essential for the sciences, there's so much content to learn you simply can't cram it in last minute.

What do you get when you join HELIX?
Weekly guided learning sessions
No pre-set lessons here, we go with the students needs. Students propose topics they are struggling with, or have upcoming exams on, and we build the sessions around this. Sessions are always fully interactive, intensive and jam packed. Resources are shared in advance and, of course, recordings are available inside the Helix Hub.
Helix Hub
Helix Hub is home to all our high-quality resources and our community platform. Everything runs from the hub. The Helix Hub is all about Science and consistently monitored to ensure the best experience for all. Students can ask questions and get speedy responses as well as access all our resources and learning.
Weekly 1:1 drop in sessions
We run a session each week where students can speak with us 1:1 to answer any questions they have. We can help with homework, exam questions, misconceptions, anything... just turn up and ask!
Resource galore
We are constantly adding resources to our collection, and HELIX members get access to it all! From video lessons to question packs we have it all. And if your child needs something specific we will create it just for them.

Between us we have over 30 years of experience in Science and Education. Including 1000s of hours teaching lessons in schools and both in-person and online tutoring.
We've taught group sizes ranging from 200 students packed into a school hall to 1:1 and small groups.
We know our Science inside out.
We also know how to say 'I don't know'. We look things up, find things out and figure out the answers, all skills you need for your exams but also for life. We can't wait to help you learn, become independent and smash your exams!

What exactly is HELIX?
HELIX is our monthly subscription online service designed to support GCSE Science students. It includes weekly live lessons, drop-in sessions, a comprehensive learning portal, interactive videos, question packs, and much more.
Who is HELIX suitable for?
HELIX covers GCSE Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for students in Year 9, 10 and 11. The sooner your child starts the better, there’s a lot of content to cover! HELIX provides support for students studying combined, triple, higher, and foundation, across all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and OCR. We tailor our lessons based on our student cohort and provide resources and support accordingly.
How often are the live lessons held?
We offer one weekly live lesson each week. This session is designed to provide interactive teaching and address student queries in real-time. These sessions are recorded and made available for students to revisit in the HELIX Hub.
What are the drop-in sessions?
Drop-in sessions are informal, supplementary support sessions where students can ask questions, clarify doubts, or get additional help on specific topics. Students wait in the Zoom waiting room for their turn, they are then able to talk 1:1 with either Beth or Nicole to ask any questions they may have without the pressure of other students being present. All sessions are recorded.
What is included in the Helix Hub?
The Helix Hub provides access to a wealth of resources including lesson recordings, interactive videos, practice question packs, and additional study materials. It’s a hub for all HELIX content.
